Hi, I'm Jamie!
The party planning, travel loving, Disney obsessed crafter-turned-baker who creates all your custom treats! If I'm not decorating sugar cookies, you can find me sipping Rombauer Zin and organizing our next get-together.
In 2018, I left my full-time marketing job to start a home bakery and pursue my lifelong goal of running my own business. Gift giving brings me joy, and I find any excuse to celebrate every little thing. So creating desserts for your special milestones and bringing your party themes to life is my dream come true!
While this is mostly a one-woman show, there are two really incredible people who support my dream and help make Sugarshida part of your memorable celebrations...
Meet Eric...
Perpetual Employee of the Month and Husband of the Year. He's the best kitchen sidekick, and my favorite person ever!
Not only does he run his own online distribution company, but he's in our kitchen daily helping with all things Sugarshida. Between mixing up batches of cookie dough, he's watching the Notre Dame Irish play football or enjoying beers on the golf course with friends.

The one who started it all.
Kellie introduced me to the world of cookie decorating when we began volunteer baking for Cake4Kids in 2017. Today, she's a full-time HR whiz and loves getting to help with custom cookie orders when I reach capacity.
She's insanely artistic, our favorite big sister, and has one of the best laughs you'll ever hear.
How in the world did we get our name?
The family name, Higashida, combines with our favorite ingredient, Sugar, to create a name as unique and fun as our desserts.
